As a big Movember gal, I wrote a story for Calgary Fashion and the #nakedespy event that happened in Calgary last Saturday. It's one of my favorites so I thought I'd share!
As we all know by now, November or “Movember” is a month dedicated to men and the prolific growth of their mustaches or other sort of facial hair. Although growing these mo’s may seem like a good reason to break out male-driven competitiveness, it is (usually) for the good cause of bringing awareness and funds to men’s health issues such as prostate cancer while us women follow the growth patterns of our mens untidy growing ‘staches (or not-so growing ones).
There are a series of “Movember-ish” events that happen across all cities in Canada. Some are quite focused on the ever so popular mustaches while other events take a slightly more naked spin....
